yayay canons <3 we love our canons just as much as we love the original characters. here you can find specific, pre-made characters of all member groups. canons are expected to be as active, if not more active, than originals. make sure your playby isn't a canon before making an original and make sure you reserve your canon before you make them. once your canon is made, post back here letting us know that he or she is done.

once your character has been accepted and moved into the town records, you can start claiming things. make sure you claim your face. if you do not claim your playby, we are responsable if someone else comes along and uses that playby. this goes for all other claims as well.

do all of your plotting here, whether its relationship charts or plot ads or requests. need a character such as a lover? a relative? request them here. or just plot in general. unless you would rather do it privately. see who comes your way.

yes, even the smallest of towns have cell phone service. and while the service might not be that great, its still there. sometimes. it might take a little while for a call to go through, but hey, what can you expect in a place like freefall?

make sure you claim a screenname in the claims before you post here, but otherwise, this is pretty self explanatory. there is no word count. post a thread and either tag someone in it or let someone come to you. chatspeak is acceptable here, but i'm not a fan.

you can text or instant messege someone, or you can do things the old fashioned way and write a letter. again, there is no word count for letters and you have the option of tagging someone or not. letters migh take a little bit longer to send, but they're always nice to have, especially a few love letters.

did you see those pictures from the party last weekend? or how about the ones that she was trying to keep a secret? post your character's pictures here, or if you have pictures of another character, feel free to publicize them here. please do not stretch the board.

are you entering town or leaving? honestly, if you're here for the first time, you might just want to get right back on that bus and go back to where you came from. if you're leaving, well, you probably won't be coming back anytime soon. the buses don't actually show up that often, so consider yourself lucky if you make one.

delany park isn't exactly that cute little park you'll see in the movies, mostly because it's usually covered in feet of snow. the swing set doesn't exactly function anymore, and the lamp posts haven't been fixed in years. it's fairly abandoned, and it's not exactly a hopping hang out spot, if you know what i mean. however, there are small pathways from those few people that might occasionally walk through it.

downtown is the less friendly portion of the town. all the sketchy vampires and werewolves hang out down here, and its not very often you'll find humans hanging around this area. the nightclub is run by vampires and the pub is run by werewolves. ironically, the hospital and the jail are located down here, too.

whether you're attending classes or breaking in at night, freefall high school isn't that exciting. it's a tiny little school, fit for the few hundred students that actually attend. their only sports teams include a hockey team and a basketball team, for both girls and boys. there isn't much to do here, and it kind of sucks when you're going to school in the dark.

the streets are the streets and there's not much more to it that that. whether you're on the side of the main road coming into town or you're getting high in the backroads, these are the streets. this board is subjective to whatever streets you'd like to play on.

the centre of town is where you'll find most restaurants and shops, although they're all family owned and aren't anything special. it's the busiest part of the small town, and it's still not even that busy. it's basically one big circle of shops and whatnot, i promise you won't get lost. pass through one of the alleys and you might end up downtown though, so be careful with that.

the university is on the very outskirts of town, and it's just about as big as the high school. chances are, if you went to high school in freefall, that's the only reason you're at the university. and even still, most kids get the hell out while they have the chance. you can't even really consider the university a part of the town because it's located so far away from the main part of town. wander out into the wilderness and you might come across it. why would someone build a school like that? well, for the supernatural, of course.

the werewolves hang out at the harbor, or at least, they call their neighborhood the harbor. it's right on the coast, or at least is the closest point to the coastline in all of town. you'll still have to walk a few miles to get to the ocean. the houses are fairly nice, but probably aren't as fancy as the vampires, because the vampires just like to show off. wolves tend to be a little bit more modest about their living standards. like the vamipres, they do a fairly good job at keeping humans out.

the providences is where the vampires tend to live. werewolves certainly don't live here, and the vampires are pretty good at keeping the humans out. basically, this is a bloodsucker's neighborhood. it's fairly nice, not too dirty, but it's not like they're living in mansions. okay, well, maybe they kind of are, but houses in freefall can't really get that big, okay? the vampires just like living by high standards. except for the ones that live on the streets or dirty apartments. but whatever.

the ridges are the neighborhoods that are closest to the centre of town where the humans live. honestly, the humans don't really know the difference between any of the neighborhoods because not too many of them know about the wolves and vampires. but still, they refer to their section of town as the ridges. vampires and werewolves could and problaby do live among them, but most of them live in their respective area.

if you've left town or haven't gotten into town yet and you would like to thread something outside of freefall, this is where you do it. however, you are limited to the united states on this board. please keep all threads outside of freefall but within the united states. you can go anywhere from california to new york or montana to texas. it doesn't matter, there are no limits.

what are you doing on the other side of the world? did you flee the country or are you just on your way in? thread yourself in europe here, anywhere from sweden to paris and beyond! are you climbing the eiffel tower or the swiss alps?

asia's a little bit closer to freefall, depending on where you are. hell, if you're on the coast of russia, you can probably see the coast of alaska with a telescope. but still, it depends on where you are in the largest continent of the world. are you closer to europe, or north america? or even australia?

welcome to south america! this includes anywhere south of mexico. and even though mexico is technically central america, we're going to call it south america for sanity's sake. so if you feel the need to thread anything near the equator, do it hereee. it's hot and sticky but hey, it's nice.

this is the rest of the world. anywhere that isn't included above can be threaded here. basically, the arctic, australia, africa, whatever. all of those places can be threaded here. hell, if you want to thread in seattle, washington, do it here. if you want to thread in another part of alaska, do it here. again, no limits.

random chatter can go on here. questions, comments, suggestions, it doesn't really matter. take part in the in character games or maybe offer up some graphics. this is the place where you can introduce yourself or just randomly go off about something. have fun with it.

leaving so soon? okay, we won't stop you, but at least let us know please. it'll make our jobs a lot easier. also, if you're going away for a long weekend or on a vacation, please let us know so we don't know you're not inactive or anything like that.
